This course, hosted in part by Mount Sinai Hospital and the University of Toronto, has been organized by the Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Committee (QIPS). A number of topics related to the improvement of patient safety and care are included in this event.

Course Objectives

  • To provide an overview of important initiatives related to quality improvement and patient safety in obstetrics and gynaecology in Canada and the United States.
  • To provide an opportunity for discussion and learning around developing strategies for putting systems in place to minimize risk and improve quality and patient safety for women's health in health care facilities.
  • To provide a forum for healthcare providers to discuss issues related to quality improvement and patient safety in obstetrics and gynaecology.
