Department Welcomes Residency Candidates to CaRMS

Last week, our Department welcomed more than 60 medical school graduates from across Canada and the world to our CaRMS interviews! These eager candidates competed for a spot in the Department's newest group of residents for the upcoming year. For two days, our dedicated faculty members and current residents met and interviewed each candidate, learning more about their interests in obstetrics and gynaecology.

On Friday evening, faculty, trainees and candidates came together at the Peter Gilgan Centre for Research and Learning to celebrate another successful CaRMS season. Over 100 people attended our Wine and Cheese event, connecting and conversing with one another over refreshments while music was provided by students of the University of Toronto's Department of Music. Residency Program Director Dr. Michèle Farrugia thanked all of those attending and wished our candidates luck in their interviews.
