Faculty and Trainees Receive MD Program Teaching Awards for Excellence

Temerty Faculty of Medicine campus building

Temerty Faculty of Medicine campus buildingThe 2019-2020 academic year has been difficult for education. With the introduction of the COVID-19 pandemic, educational programs have had to diversify in order to provide quality teaching for their students - this includes the University of Toronto's MD Program. However, in these difficult situations, the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology is proud to say that our faculty and trainees have remained dedicated to preparing the next generation of physicians in Canada. This is the reason why 24 faculty and trainees have been awarded with the MD Program Teaching Award for Excellence.

The award - which was introduced in 2017-2018 by the University of Toronto's medical students - recognizes faculty, residents, graduate student teachers and clinicians in the MD Program that have attained Teaching Evaluation Scores in the top 10% in one or more of the teaching activities to which they have contributed.

Congratulations to this year's award winners!
