Department welcomes new cohort of PGY1s at annual Resident Barbecue

The Department recently welcomed our new cohort of PGY1s at the annual Resident Barbecue on Tuesday, July 11. The event was hosted by Residency Program Director Dr. Michèle Farrugia.

Following an Academic Half Day session on surgical knot-tying with Dr. Grace Liu, more than 45 attendees gathered on a warm July evening for the barbecue and pool party.

Thank you to everyone for making this such a fun event each year and to all the services who made it possible for residents on call to attend for a few hours.
