There are several policies and guidelines which the Department and its members are expected to know and adhere to. Here, you will find information on policies directed at undergraduate medical students, post-graduate trainees, and faculty. 

Protocol regarding Intimidation, Harassment, and Discrimination 

In May 2020, the Executive Committee of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology adopted a protocol document entitled Intimidation, Harassment, Discrimination, and Other Forms of Unprofessional Behaviour: A Management Guideline for Learners, Faculty Members and Leaders. This has evolved into the resource available here

Guidelines for Equity, Diversity & Inclusion in Continuing Medical Education Courses

In October 2020, the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee and Departmental Executive Committee adopted a guideline for all of our CME courses. It will be expected that all course directors and planning committees will review this document in the preparatory phases of course development and will subsequently share it with all moderators and speakers at their courses.
